First day of Saturday Squash classes concludes at GT Club

The last of three classes, wrapped up the first day of Saturday morning squash classes yesterday at the Georgetown Club on Camp Street.

Nyron Joseph went through some paces with the future squash players of the nation.

Youth Coach, Deje Dias, acknowledged the Junior National players who came to help.

“A big thank you to Josh, Rylee, Safirah and Emily for helping with the sessions and to Taylor for helping to register the participants. She is always willing to help the squash community. Lastly, to Coach Nyron, for putting his full effort into the junior programme and a big part of its continued success.”

We have a strong Squash community and it’s right here at these Saturday morning classes where every player and parent fell in love with our sport and has always been the seed to our success,” said Dias.

“If you have any rackets in decent condition cracked or broken with strings still intact please send them to the Bar at the Georgetown Club on Camp Street for me to collect, or if you have anything to give as a donation to these Saturday classes.”

If you have Squash bags, rackets, goggles shoes, balls and grips please send them in and I will make sure they are put to good use,” added the hard working Dias. (Sean Devers)
