Milo Secondary Schools Football Tournament…
The Petra Organisation decided in the best interest of the players and ground aligned with the Milo Secondary Schools Football Tournament, to postpone this weekend’s matches between the quarterfinalists.
According to a note from Petra, “Due to the inclement weather patterns for the next couple of days we at Petra Organization have decided to push back our quarter-finals that were schedule for this weekend (July 9 – 10) to July 16 – 17, 2022. This is also in the interest of preserving our playing field. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
When the tournament resumes, the final eight commence battle as CWSS meet Cummings Lodge, West Ruimveldt tackle North Ruimveldt, Annandale go head to head with Friendship and Dolphin will battle President’s College.
The victorious team in this knockout tournament will cart off with $300,000 along with the 2022 Milo Championship Trophy and Gold Medals to outfit the entire team, while the second place finishers have to settle for $200,000, the corresponding trophy and Silver Medals.
Meanwhile, these teams have automatically qualified for the upcoming GuyOil/Tradewind Tankers U-18 League, which is scheduled to run from September to November of this year.
