Jealous teen kills man for drinking with his wife
Kaieteur News – Drinking with another man’s wife ended tragically for Felipe Galaviz, a Venezuelan National who was killed on Friday evening by his fellow country man, at Oronoque, Port Kaituma, Region One.

The suspect wanted for Galaviz’s death has been identified as a 19-year-old Venezuelan teen and police are currently hunting him.
Galaviz was stabbed to his neck with a knife around 23:30hrs at the suspect’s home. He was rushed to the Port Kaituma Hospital located close by to the crime scene but succumbed while receiving treatment for his injury.
Ranks visited the scene and learnt that Galaviz had visited the suspect’s home when he was not around and had started drinking with his wife. The teen arrived sometime later and met the two imbibing together and became suspicious. An argument soon after ensued between them. It led to a confrontation between the teen and Galaviz, resulting in Galaviz’s death.
Police have since detained the suspect’s wife and several other persons.
