1 patient in COVID-19 ICU, four new cases
Kaieteur News – Even as 13 individuals are recovering, the Ministry of Health on Saturday revealed that one patient is now in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) receiving treatment.
The Ministry in its latest dashboard recorded four new infections, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 63,368. Out of the number of confirmed cases, 34,198 individuals are women while 29,170 are men.
The dashboard data further shows that 10 persons are in institutional isolation, 80 are in home isolation and 12 are in institutional quarantine.
To date, a total of 62,049 persons have recovered from the virus.
