Kaieteur News – The dead body of 42-year-old Woodrow John Lepps was on Monday morning discovered in an abandoned house in Victoria Village, East Coast Demerara, with injuries to his head. A police report revealed that Lepps was unemployed and suffered from epilepsy.
According to the deceased’s sister, Rita Lepps of Belfield, East Coast Demerara, her brother visited her home on Sunday around 09:00hrs and collected breakfast and went to the abandoned building, where he dwells.
The woman had reported to the police that the following day she received information that her brother was found dead in the building where he stayed. An alarm was raised and his body was examined by crime scene investigators, who reported that a suspected wound was seen to the left side of Lepps’ head.
Lepps’ body was taken to CC Nicholson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival by a doctor on duty. His body was later transported to Lyken Funeral Parlour.
