Kaieteur News – Mattheu Nandu stuck a fine century, while Javed Rasheed bagged five wickets as Everest Cricket Club defeated Third Class by an innings and 110 runs when the Georgetown Cricket Association second division Noble House Sea Foods two-day competition continued last weekend.
Nandu slammed an unbeaten 106, while Saheed Mohamed struck 60, Amir Khan made 53 not out and Dwayne Adams retired hurt on 23 as host Everest CC posted 253-1, batting first.
Im reply, Third class were bowled out for 72 with Rasheed taking 5-17, Ariel Tilku 2-10 and Khan 2-14.
Third class, following on made 71-9, innings closed. Tilku captured 3-9, David Williams 3-13 and Saheed Mohamed 2-25.
