Relatives need help locating Diamond woman with mental condition
Missing: Maala Singh.
Kaieteur News – Relatives of Maala Singh, a 36 year-old woman with a mental condition, need the assistance of the public finding her.
Singh went missing from her Avenue ‘A’ Diamond, East Bank Demerara home on Sunday, December 20, 2020. The woman reportedly left her home without notifying any family members. Relatives of the missing woman recall having last contacted her around 19:20hrs on Sunday, when she called to say she was with a friend named Devi. However, when relatives contacted the friend, Devi, she answered and claimed that Maala never went to her.
Singh’s relatives told this publication that she was recently released from the hospital, and it is important that she returns home since she needs to take medication to help her mental condition.
A missing person report has since been lodged with the police. If anyone knows her whereabouts, please call 6701934 or contact the nearest police station.
