Panthera Solutions makes financial contribution to RHTYSC Christmas Programme

Kaieteur News – Since its formation in 1990, the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club, MS has hosted a Charity programme with the main objective of putting a smile on the faces of the less fortunate during the festive season. The ten cricket teams of the club hosts a year-long programme for the elderly and less fortunate but special emphasis is placed on the Christmas segment during the month of December. This year’s programme would start on the 5th of December and concludes on the 24th, Christmas Eve Day. The teams since Mid-September started to plan for the programme and on Monday last, received a major boost with a significant financial boost from Panthera Solutions.
Club Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster accepted the contribution on behalf of the teams. The company in 2019 came on board as an official sponsor of the club and co-sponsored the 2019 Christmas Charity Programme along with a forty page youth information booklet. Foster disclosed that this year, the Christmas Charity Programme would involve the distribution of one thousand food hampers to less fortunate families, five thousand Christmas toys and a feeding programme to provide a warm box of food to one thousand persons. Additionally, five hundred families would receive a special Christmas package consisting of apples, grapes, biscuits, wall nuts, sweets and other items, while hundreds of senior citizens would be provided with a special Christmas eve breakfast at their residence by the teams.
Among the other programmes planned; the distribution of clothing, school bags, educational materials along with donations to orphanages and senior citizens homes. Foster stated that the ten teams – would look after the three weeks programme.
The RHTYSC Secretary/CEO expressed gratitude to Panthera Solution and its General Manager Andrew Dinsdale for their support. Dinsdale in his remarks hailed the RHTYSC as a role model organisation which his company was pleased to be associated with.
Panthera Solutions is a joint venture between Farfan and Mendes Ltd and the Canadian based company, Crosbie. Panthera Solutions is located at Providence, East Coast, Demerara and offer services in the local Oil Sector. Dinsdale assured the RHTYSC, MS that his company was committed to a long term relationship and that its sponsorship would increase as the business expands in Guyana.
Meanwhile, the ten cricket teams would like to express gratitude to numerous local and overseas based Guyanese who have come on board to offer support.
