The Ministry of Health (MoH)has confirmed that Guyana has recorded 66 new cases of the COVID-19 disease bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 2,168.
Of that number, the Ministry’s dashboard released yesterday confirmed that Region Four has 42 new cases; Region 10 has four; Region Seven with one while Region Nine has two new cases; Region One with 11 and Region Three recording four.
The number of persons who have recovered is 1,331 with 64 persons have died.
An additional 59 persons are in institutional quarantine.
Additionally, there are now 15 persons in the COVID-19 ICU; 82 in institutional isolation and 676 in home isolation.
The numbers were drawn from 11, 913 tests done to date.
