Hello Davo my old friend
Checking in on you again.
You’ve been so quiet in this rigging
Some are saying it’s not you, it’s just your bidding.
But that is false, you know it’s you.
Yet you abet
The rigging.
Have you played dominoes with Nic?
Asking pleading and repeating.
Have you looked at sand raptly since this rigging?
And heard some devious silence tangled deeply in your being.
It is wrong, you know that too.
Yet you condone
The rigging.
Your reputation’s now in tatters
In squalid harmony with a tainted coat
And vulgar law res ipsa loquitur without speaking.
Moseying a no go motor downhill without braking.
Indubitably, it is true.
Yet you incite
The rigging.
The sovereign card is your pretense
But Share an inch has only trumps.
One sanction will lase Dev Attar Ganga
Or by whatever alias you choose to hide your face forever
You will feel the sanctions dealt to you.
Still you provoke
The rigging.
Hello Davo my old friend
Checking in on you again.
Country, Covid, oil and order
All require urgent action by the winner of the nation’s vote
And yes, you can stop the circus.
Yes, you can stop
The rigging.

By Sir Ronald Sanders (Kaieteur News) – I have spent a decade in the councils of the Organization of American States. (Kaieteur News) – I like it. More money for Guyanese workers. Not private sector minimum wage workers, regrettably. If any local workers are due more money, private sector (and public service) minimum wage workers standout. More money is for Guyanese in the oil industry.
