DEAR EDITOR,
Until now my country of birth has been well known throughout the world for several reasons among which are the magnificent Kaieteur Falls, a natural wonder, and the Jonestown Massacre, an imported tragedy. All Guyanese can speak with pride about the mighty Kaieteur Falls and perhaps with some embarrassment about the Jonestown Massacre. Neither of these came about by any actions of the country or of the Guyanese people. Unfortunately we have now become the laughing stock and a topic of derision for the entire world because of the duplicity and blatant corruption of the electoral processes by the incumbent Coalition Governing Party, the APNU/AFC. How much longer will this Circus continue? Time to get rid of this kakistocracy.
Vernon Watts,
Toronto, Ontario.
