Defending champions No73 Young Warriors outgun Scottsburg United to retain title
A fine all-round performance by Sarwan Chitnarine helped defending champions No73 Young Warriors to defeat Scottsburg United and win the second edition of the Trophy Stall and Upper Corentyne Cricket Association (UCCA) Under-19 Inter club 50 overs cricket competition.

Yes two times defending Champions No73 Young Warriors and show off their silverware after winning the Trophy Stall and UCCA 50 over cricket competition.
In the final which was played at the Crabwood Creek Ground, Scottsburg United batted first and made a formidable 194 in 31.5 overs. Their main scorers were Clifford Embrack 50(5×6, 3×4), Brandon Nandalall 27, Ashton Nohar 25 and Trevon Sukhoo 21.
Bowling for No73 Young Warriors, Sarwan Chitnarine picked up 3 wickets, while there were 2 each for Niraha Singh and Eton Odell.
No73 Young Warriors in reply batted solidly like defending champions as they raced to 195-2 in 31.4 overs to win by 8 wickets. Their charge was led by all round Sarwan Chitnarine who returned with the bat to blast an unbeaten 80(10×4, 1×6). He was supported by Nicholas Tahal 44 and all-rounder Niraha Singh with 24.

The winning NO73 Young Warriors team received their trophy and cash incentive from a representative of the Trophy Stall.
In the presentation that followed, Young Warriors received cash incentives and the Trophy Stall Trophy Stall trophy from a representative of the Trophy Stall Port Mourant Branch.
The individual presentations were swept by players of No73 Young Warriors team. Sarwan Chitnarine for his outstanding all round exploits of 3-40 and 80 not out was adjudged the man of the match.
The award for the player with the most runs and also the most valuable player went to Niradj Singh. Paul Jabbar got the award for the player with the most wickets in the tournament.
The tournament was sponsored by the Trophy Stall Port Mourant Branch through the generosity of General Manager Ramesh Sunich.
Seven teams participated in the competition, the others being No. 43 Cricket Club, No. 66 Cricket Club and No. 73 Mandir and No 52 Cricket Club.
