Second round set for this weekend
Second round matches in the Upper Corentyne Cricket Association and the Trophy Stall Inter Club U19 50 over cricket competition set for this weekend weather permitting. The Trophy Stall has handed over the trophies to the organisers for the competition which is in its second year.

Two matches are set to be played when the competition continues.
The games set to be contested will see No 43 taking on No 73 Mandir at the No 73 cricket ground, while No 72 Cut and Load and No 52 will play at the No 72 ground. Both matches start at 09:30 hrs.
Scottsburg opponent NO 66 has withdrawn from the competition, while No 73 Young Warriors has drawn the bye.
The competition will be played on a one day 50 overs format and will be played on a round robin basis.
The top teams at the end of the preliminary matches will advance to the semifinals with the winners clashing in the final. The tournament is being sponsored by the Trophy Stall Port Mourant Branch.
The Trophy Stall, with head office at Bourda Market, is one of the leading sponsors of sporting activities in Guyana. It is also one of the leading sports and trophy stores in the country.
The Trophy Stall, which opened a Branch in Port Mourant Corentyne last year, is happy to give back to the people of Berbice for their support over the years.
General Manager Ramesh Sunich was happy with the away the competition was organised last year and readily agreed to sponsor the competition again.
The competition is being coordinated by former national wicketkeeper batsman Sydney Jackman.
