Diamond Mineral Water road race set for Sunday
The Demerara Distillers Limited-sponsored Diamond Mineral Water 46-mile road race will be held on Sunday in Region Three (Essequibo-Islands West Demerara).
The event will commence at 08.30 hours at Schoonard and proceed along the West Bank of Demerara to Parkia, East Bank Essequibo and return to the point of origin.
Among those expect to participate are defending champions Junior Niles, Warren McKay, Alexis Mendes, Ozia McAully, Jamal Chappel and Briton John.
Organiser Hassan Mohamed expressed gratitude to the company for their longstanding commitment to the development of cycling.
