The Demerara Cricket Club first division team will host their counterparts Blairmont in a T20 fixture this Saturday from 18:00hrs. The game is being sponsored by Ariel Enterprise of Regent Street, Tropical Spring Water-Industry ECD, Trophy Stall Port Mourant Branch, 4R of Duncan Street and Ramchand Auto Spares-Sheriff Street.
DCC – Christopher Barnwell (C), Trevon Griffith (VC), Tevin Imlach, Ashmead Nedd, Raymond Perez, Steven Sankar, Dexter George, Joshua Persaud, Derwin Christian, Carlton Jaques, Jahon Bryon, Xaviee Smith, Daniel Motoo, Dequain Bamfield, Paul Wintz and O.Giddings.
Blairmont – Shabeer Baksh (C) Kevin Jawahir, Seon Glasgow, Marvan Prashad, Nigel Deodat, Javed Karim, Zameer Nazir, Waqar Hassan, Derrick McCalman, Suresh Dhani, Dedinauth Persaud, Farouk Subhan, Altav Balman, Akash Ragbir, Wasim Inshan and Govindaraj Khan.
Tomorrow evening, Tropical Spring Transport and DCC will contest an Under-15 match which will be the first of a three match series; games will be of 30 overs duration.
And on November 16, Blairmont and DCC Under-15s will face off in the first of a three-match 40-over day/night series.
