Guyana for Lima 2019 Parapan American Games
Guyana will be competing at the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games in Lima Peru under the umbrella of the National Paralympics Committee of Guyana.
Guyana was given a quote of four, consisting of two para athletes and two officials. Members of the delegation are:
Mr. Wilton Spencer – Chef de Mission
Mr. Linden Johnson – Coach (Table Tennis)
Mr. Gibron Sarfaraz – Para Table Tennis Athlete
Mr. Walter Grant- Stuart – Para Cyclist Athlete
Mr. Spencer, Johnson and Sarfaraz departed Guyana yesterday, August 17, while Mr. Grant- Stuart will follow later.
The team is extending a hearty thank you to the following agencies which are responsible for equipping the delegation for the Games: International Paralympics Committee, Guyana Olympics Association and the National Sports Commission.
