CXC Implements New System to Handle Website Traffic.

The Caribbean Examination Council recently announced that they have implemented a new system to deal with the release of results of both CAPE and CXC and the volume of traffic that is attracted to the website.
The release dates for the former was August 13 while the latter will officially be released on the website today. It is highly anticipated by those who sat them, as it basically determines their way forward educationally and has an impact on the path they would undertake in life.
However in the past years the council has noticed that students may have been experiencing access issues due to the large number of persons attempting to log in at the same time, when results are scheduled to be released on their respective dates.
CSEC is a regional thing and there are thousands of candidates from each participating trying to gain access at one time which could lead to the website being unavailable or show up as an error.
This year in order to allow easy access to the portal, results would be released at varying times throughout the day. This new approach will significantly decrease the number of persons visiting the website and in addition specific windows for countries will be open for approximately two to three hours on the release dates and results can be accessed within that time frame.
The result will be subsequently available freely until the portal closes. As the organisation is celebrating its 40th anniversary of offering CESC examinations, the organisation is remaining committed to preparing students of all ages, abilities and interests for an ever-changing competitive global market, through its provision of high quality syllabuses; valid and reliable examinations and certificates of international repute.
