I am a resident of Ogle, East Coast Demerara, I am kindly asking the assistance of the relevant authorities to be able to use the Ogle playground (for playing football). I was told that a fee of $10,000 is required for the use of the playground.
I do understand that the playground has to be maintained but the majority of the children who want to use it are of medium income backgrounds and it’s sometimes difficult to pay the fee. We are kindly asking that with all goodwill and the opportunity to provide the children of our community and by extension the country that the use of the Ogle playground be possible. I do not know who owns this playground but I know there are some known persons who seem to have the authority to decide who use the ground and when.
