Ogle CC receives boost from several businesses
A young member of the Ogle CC display two pieces to cricket uniforms that were purchased.
Ogle Sports Club of East Coast Demerara recently received a timely donation from several businesses to aid in their cricket development.
The club which participates in tournaments run by the East Coast Cricket Committee (ECCC), received cash from Builders Lumber Yard, Suresh Auto Body Workshop, Alim Mohamed and Romain Mangra Lumber Yard, to purchase uniforms and gears for the team.
Secretary of the club, Devendra Ramtahal expressed gratitude to the sponsors, adding that the uniforms will be used by members in the ongoing ECCC T20 tournament. He said the players are excited about the venture and this will serve as motivation for the youths.
