The Coalition Administration Should Pursue Justice Against Jagdeo

Guyanese continue to err in regarding the PPP as a viable political organization, even after repeated publication in the media of its ties to narco trafficking, money laundering, wholesale corruption and murder (https://www.stabroeknews.com/2009/guyana-review/08/20/shaheed-%E2%80%98roger%E2%80%99-khan-drugs-dirty-money-and-the-death-squad/).
One of the principal tasks of the Coalition administration was prosecuting the PPP’s involvement in the aforementioned criminal activities. This was not done.
The Democratic National Congress maintains that the PPP is a mafia organization, and Jagdeo is its mafia boss. Jagdeo is responsible for all of the corruption, and much of the drugs and money laundering and murders linked to the PPP.
We maintain that the current administration should ensure that President David Granger has the executive power at his disposal to bring swift justice for Guyanese by moving against Bharrat Jagdeo and members of the PPP who have been involved in the mentioned crimes, seizing all assets and property of those involved in corruption, money laundering and who benefitted from the narcotics trade.
Jagdeo has driven so much fear into many Guyanese that they think that he’s immortal, a god of some sort, above our judgment. It is President Granger’s responsibility to remove that fear and restore confidence in our government by pursuing justice against Jagdeo and the PPP.
