The Christmas season is always a busy time for shoppers. At the same time there are the opportunists. Two of them would be caught trying to rob a shopper. Public-spirited citizens would make the arrest. Of course there would be the usual exuberance that would see the culprits being beaten. And there would be the righteous who would want police action.

Another road fatality would occur on the eastern corridor. A truck and a car would collide, largely because of the inattentiveness of the car driver.

Counterfeit currency would surface. The tricksters are always busy and at this time they would be extra busy. The unfortunate thing is that they would pass the currency on some people who are trying to get as much as they could at this time. Needless to say, there would be arrests.
