Nov 02, 2018 Letters
DEAR EDITOR,
I am writing this letter addressing it to the National Procurement & Tender Administration Board. It’s short and straight to the point.
My question is why the NPTAB website is not up to date. The last posting of minutes on that site was on October 9, 2018, and we are in a new month. This seems to be an ongoing issue, since a letter was sent to your paper a while back and immediately the site started to be updated.
This is a site that can be checked by contractors who couldn’t attend the bid opening, so it is a point of reference to ensure all went well, and it can also be used as proof, if need arises, to dispute any issue that may occur regarding the submission of number of copies, relevant documents like compliances, bid security etc.
I am therefore calling on the Chairman of the NPTAB to ensure that the board’s website is updated as it should be. I look forward to a response from the NPTAB.
Ryan Bell
