This Kato police station rank has to be transferred

Information has reached us that the residents of Kato village in Region 8 (Potaro- Siparuni) are going through very rough times because their cassava and mixed farms currently being destroyed by cattle owned by an alleged drugs dealer.
The residents claim that when complaints are made to the owner of the cattle, he does nothing, but only offer excuses.
Kato residents also claim that their village council has advised the cattle owner to remove his cattle from the village’s farming areas and put them on the savannah areas, which are good pastures for his cows, but he refuses.
To compound matters, when villagers report their problem to the Kato Police Station, nothing happens. An official at the police stations is close relations to the cattle owner.
The Kato residents are calling on the Ministers of Indigenous Peoples Affairs and Communities for their intervention to bring relief to their cattle-related problem, which is affecting their livelihood.
They are also calling on the ‘F’ Division Commander and the Commissioner of Police to remove the police rank of the Kato Police Station since he is not responding to the reports made by the Kato village farmers. There is a clear conflict of interest situation here.
