PPP/C Group recognises Hetmyer for match winning ton

Attorney-at-Law and Chairman of the Peoples Progressive Party/Civic Campbellville group, Charles Ramson Jnr, presented a cash prize to Guyanese Shimron Hetmyer for his “brilliant” match-winning hundred for the West Indies Wednesday night at the Guyana National Stadium Providence against Bangladesh. West Indies won by 6 runs.
Ramson said all of Guyana is and should be proud of this young talented Guyanese and, “…we wanted Hetmyer to know that we support him in his quest to become a great international player. Guyana has had a long list of players who have made Guyana proud on the international cricket scene, and we wish him all the best.”
