Maia Baby Diapers, through its local distributor, will be providing the triplets recently born at the Georgetown Public hospital with a year’s supply of Maia Baby products.
On Wednesday, Sueria Manufacturing Inc. made the generous donation of Maia Baby Diapers, wipes and other products to the first set of triplets born at the Georgetown Public hospital since 2012.
According to Sueria, the parents are 25-year-old Guyana Defence Force Lance Corporal, Delroy George and his spouse, Mandisa McKinnon, 26, of DeAbreu Street, Newtown.
The company plans to track and document the babies’ journey throughout the year, as they grow using Maia Baby products.
The company’s representative, Selwyn Bobb, said as a father, he knows how critical it is for the babies to be comfortable and healthy, hence the generous donation of Maia diapers and products. He also related that the CEO of the company, Frank Sanichara, has twin boys and they too have grown up using Maia diapers.
“He cited the fact that Maia diapers are a quality product that meets the need of every parent. Not only is the brand a quality brand but it is also affordable and the company does its best to ensure it is available at every possible retail outlet countrywide. He stressed that it is the company’s mandate to distribute premium products that are affordable, hence; giving all parents the opportunity to care for their loved ones.”
The diapers are available in stages 2, 3, 4 and 5 (small, medium, large and junior) and are the most affordable in Guyana.
“They ensure you have more value for your money since there are more diapers in every pack when compared to the other brands. The diapers are designed to give your baby all the freedom to move and are super absorbent to ensure wetness protection.”
The company’s representative stated that they are currently streamlining an initiative, which will see them working closely with several health centres across Guyana.
The initiative, which is called “Maia Cares” will be geared at giving first time mothers the privilege of using Maia diapers free of charge for their new born. He said all the mechanics have not been fully worked out as yet and as soon as this is completed, this initiative will be launched.
