Four days after two cousins went for a swim at the Mahaica seawalls and drowned while swimming, the second body has turned up at the Buxton foreshore.
Timothy Robinson, 14, and his 10-year-old cousin Timothy Yearwood went for a swim on Monday. They went missing, so family members commenced a search for the youths.
On Tuesday afternoon, the families worst fears were confirmed when Robinson’s body was found at the Hope, Low Land area, in the vicinity of the koker.
The family continued searching for Yearwood and that search has since ended after the body of Yearwood was found at Buxton.
The police in a statement said the body of Timothy Yearwood was found by Linden McCurdy of 77 Supply Mahaica, ECD, and the brother of the deceased, Kevin Sash, at Buxton, Brusche Dam, seawalls.
