Clarence Hinds of Mabaruma, Region one is the latest sponsor to join the 9th annual Easter weekend games with a cash prize of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000).
The prize money will go towards the cricket cash prize on April 2 when Mabaruma take on Matarkai in the lone T20 tapeball match that will be held under floodlights at Fitzburg ground in Port Kaituma.
At the brief and memorable presentation ceremony which was held recently, Chairman of the Matarkai Sports Committee Mr. Sherlon Rodrigues thanked Mr. Hinds and family for their input and assured him that the cash will go towards sports development.
