Dear Editor,
As much as I commend Mr. Ruel Johnson for bringing the alleged acts of Mr Jackson to the public fore – I hope he has initiated a nationwide call of action for change in attitudes to matters like this -, I have now come to the conclusion that I must condemn his unethical behaviour on social media incessantly seeking glory for himself and boasting of his considerable power and influence as a senior government functionary.
Aside from his suspect motive – I believe this is a ‘lovers spat’ between two narcissists -, he has moved into the realm of bringing disrepute to his high government office and should be so sanctioned. I can only wait for him to get on the stand as the chief complainant to be questioned by a skilled defence lawyer – hope he lives in a concrete house.
You see what happens here? Does Johnson have any legal standing in this matter, or are the victims now going to be subordinated to Johnson’s star boy role in the matter.
His continued behaviour of seeking glory for himself has shifted the attention away from the victims of the alleged sexual exploitation on to himself and questions his suitability for the high office he holds. There has been a pattern of him aggressively using his office to intimidate persons he disagrees with – look at the accusations he pelted at Frank Anthony. Mr. Johnson needs to shut up and let the systems in placed take their course.
I am urging the government with its many challenges of indiscipline with public officers to sanction Mr. Johnson for he now has become a nuisance. I think he should be suspended from duty because of the very way he continues to carry on. I believe the matter between the two men is personal.
How dare he use the misfortune of those young lady victims to further his own sinister and inadequate ego? And he has his cheerleaders.
I think that the government needs to implement a social media policy for its officers to curb this kind of culture; people are knocked off or suspended from work for bringing disrepute to their high office and employers because of their social media attitude and behaviour.
Before Johnson damages a blood vessel, let me make it clear to him, when he reads this letter, that as much as I condemn Jackson and believe he ought to be severely sanctioned for his alleged high crimes, it is he, Johnson, and his continued exhibition of power and manipulation of the ‘herd’ that has prompted my disdain.
I wonder if he has jeopardised the chances of the victims getting justice given the atmosphere he has created. Any lawyer worth his dollars will first contend that Jackson will unlikely get a fair judgement from a jury of his peers with this continued frenzy fueled by such a narcissist as Johnson.
