Dear Editor,
I know a few people that fill USA Visa forms, and there has been an alarming denial rate. I am not too familiar, but my opinion is that since infants, and family members with solid ties where immediate family members ‘’do not qualify’’ granting them a visa may constitute fraud.
The consulate is taking money knowingly that they will refuse/deny Visas. The latest is a nine-month old whose mom has a Visa, never travelled to the USA and was refused. Another is a father and son denied, although his wife and young daughter were given Visas, and they visited NY for three weeks last winter.
The father, kind of pleaded for them to give the child although they were denied a Visa, and they refused. Then there was a case of a father dying, and a letter from the hospital yet he was denied, but was offered to a fill out an I-131 form (humanitarian parole app) and spend another $575 USD, rather than offering him a six-month Visa.
I say this constitutes some kind of fraud, and should be addressed. They are ‘’blindly’’ denying applicants. If they have tightened, they should notify the public.
The Consular posted an international programme for students three hours before the deadline for students to interact live. They could have posted a week prior or days even.
USA scam??!!
