This is the silly season. The prison problems will shift to sightings of the escaped prisoners. There are reports that two of the escapees are hiding out in the lower East Coast Demerara. However, the absence of precise information will prevent a raid.
The police will stake out a known watering hole and will almost be lucky.
**
There will be yet another senseless murder. Again alcohol will play a factor as this drunken spouse goes home and becomes enraged because his partner will ignore him.
The killer will not get far because the community will react.
**
A car accident will once more cause problems because the spate of road accidents is worrying. There will be calls for the police to review their licensing policy.
A young unlicensed driver will be speeding along the road in the dark hours when he will hit a parked vehicle in which some people will be sitting. There will be no fatalities but the police will respond to an attempt at bribery.
