Dear Editor,
Over a number of years, court matters were either filed by area Boards or Associations and this had prevented the potential of Guyana’s cricket to go forward at national and international levels.
Our youths were mostly the ones to suffer. In 2014, the Cricket Administration Bill was enacted which to my understanding must be an independent body elected to run Guyana Cricket; to date this never happened.
As a former administrator of cricket, I appeal to all true representative of cricket boards, associations, clubs, sport’s lawyers and enthusiastic lovers of the game to arrange a meeting at the Guyana National Stadium and let voices be heard. This will justify the matter before the Court. Cricket Lovely Cricket is a great game of uncertainty. Let the true spirit return to Guyana.
