Defending Champions dethroned by Marians Academy
Marian Academy dethroned Mackenzie High school in the U-14 Final of the National Schools Basketball tournament which concluded on Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Captain of Marian Academy, Jether Harris, lead his team to a 34-30 win with a game high 20 points, 13 rebounds and three steals to take the MVP of the U-14 division. It was inadvertently stated in yesterday’s report on the tournament that Mackenzie High had retained their title which was incorrect.
