What kind of justice is this for the ordinary citizen?

Dear Editor,
On the 29th January 2016 at about 11.00 am a young female Lawyer left the Sparendaam Court for the Georgetown Magistrate Court. As she approached the UG access road she noticed that the traffic light was green and increased her speed to catch it. As she got nearer it turned amber and red. She drove through it using the extreme left side lane. I am one of nine taxi drivers that transport UG students in and out of UG and park adjacent to the traffic lights and parallel to the East Coast Highway.
On my way to the park I had to wait on the traffic light which was saying red. It changed to green and I signalled and drove off turning left all the time to get to my park. As I was going into my park I felt an impact on my left side that sent my car spinning. I stepped on the brakes and came to a halt. On exiting my car I noticed that this young lady, not realizing that I was turning all the time and not going to Georgetown slammed into my car at full speed.
The police came, took measurements and invited us to the station. At the station she was warmly greeted by the sergeant (who was not present at the scene) and sent away. The Sergeant instructed a junior rank to charge me with careless driving. What justice is this? She was not charged.
