A bridge across a creek in Region 9
Dear Editor;
I read in the Monday edition of KN that Mr. Peter Persaud claimed that the Regional Democratic Council, Region 9 is not in favour of the proposed bridge across the Tabatinga Creek. As Clerk of Council I would like to make it pellucid that at no time was this bridge a subject of our discussions or deliberations.
The Regional Democratic Council, Region 9 comprises of nine PPP/C and six APNU/AFC members and while each member would have their individual opinions, the Council speaks as one on any given issue. I am certain when the time comes to discuss the bridge that the RDC will support it. Mr. Persaud will do well by not interfering in the affairs of this Council. Let him stick to what he does best -nothing.
