It is not often that I keep talking about the crime and people not heeding. The result is that the gunmen are becoming bolder. They are going to increase their attacks on some communities because the very communities are loath to attack.
But in one case, the response would be particularly violent although there is the fear that the police would go after them for vigilante action.

Domestic violence knows no limit. The mother of a child would report to the police that her spouse is molesting her stepdaughter. This would be due to the fact that her anger would be directed at her spouse for an act of infidelity.
The police would respond to her claim. It will be some time before they realize that the spouse was the victim of a spurned woman.

Beware of people visiting your home under the pretext that they are employees of a state agency. One group of men would visit a home threatening electrical disconnection all the while scouting the premises.
One such group is targeting a home on the western bank of the Demerara River. The residents are alerted but then again, many fail to heed the warning.
