The one day Volleyball competition oganised by the Berbice Volleyball Association and sponsored by the 3 Doors Strikers Volleyball Club, which was set for today at the club’s court at D’Edward Village, West Bank, Berbice, has been put back by one week and is now slated for Sunday 4th September at the same venue.
Over 20 teams are expected to take part in the all-day competition which is expected to feature games among the male and female seniors and junior males.
Teams are expected from Orealla/ Siparuta, up the Corentyne River, Rollers of New Amsterdam, No.52 Survivals, Jets of Corriverton, Tain Humanitarian, Port Mourant Jaguars, PMTC, GTCPM, host 3 Doors strikers, Black Bush and Berbice High School among others.
Incentives will be presented to the top teams in the various categories and the outstanding individual players.
The activity will be coordinated by BVA President and National Coach Levi Nedd.
Action serves off at 09:00 hrs next Sunday. (Samuel Whyte)
