…and road to be built derelict vehicle site on highway
During the opening of the tenders at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) yesterday, at the Ministry of Finance, a contract for the extension of the North Ruimveldt Secondary School attracted six bidders. The Ministry of Education was listed as the procuring entity.
Tenders were also opened for the construction of an Access Road to the Derelict Vehicle Site at Kururu, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, Region Four (Demerara/Mahaica). This contract attracted a massive number of bidders. The procuring entity is the Ministry of Public Infrastructure and the Engineer’s estimate was announced at $186.4M.
Tenders were also opened for the alterations and upgrades to the Office Building of the Ministry of Public Telecommunications. The engineer’s estimate was announced at $3,280,460.
Two companies also submitted bids for supply of one New Generating Set for the Oscar Joseph District Hospital, Charity, Essequibo Coast Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam). These companies were MACORP ($10. 5M) and Tels Engineering Services ($7.2M).
Bids were opened for the contract for the provision of Security Services. The procuring entity is the Regional Democratic Council, Region Seven (Cuyuni/Mazaruni).
Finally, tenders were opened for the supply and installation of a Photovoltaic System and Energy Storage for the Kato Secondary School Complex. The procuring entity is the Ministry of Education.
