Jul 16, 2016 Letters
Dear Editor,
I refer to the article on page 8 of your newspaper of Friday 15th July 2016. GPL Board member unaware of entitlement to retroactive payment – former PM says this was introduced in 2015. Your reporter apparently totally misunderstood what was said. He/she reported the exact opposite of what I said, which was that the Cabinet decision (of which I have knowledge) approved payment of increased fees as of the current date. As in my letter to the editor of August 2015, concerning media reports of a number events at GPL, I further said that the question of arrears was raised but to my knowledge was open (and still on the table) at the end of my mandate.
