The Guyana Junior squash Team will depart Guyana today to participate in the Junior Caribbean Squash Championships scheduled for Cayman Islands from July 16 – 23, 2016.
The team will be led by Under 19 stars Benjamin Mekdeci and Taylor Fernandes and will be ably supported by some of the Country’s top junior squash players. The team will seek to capture the overall team title for the twelfth consecutive year.
The team Coach is Carl Ince and will be assisted by Akeila Wiltshire. The team is being managed by Garfield Wiltshire with David Fernandes as his deputy.
The teams read: (Boys) Ben Mekdeci, Alex Melville, Alex Cheeks, Rithew Saywack, Daniel Islam, Anthony Islam, Shomari Wiltshire, Samuel Ince-Carvalhal, Demetrius De Abreu, Michael Alphonso, James Mekdeci, Karim Khan and Mohryan Baksh.
(Girls) Taylor Fernandes, Larissa Wiltshire, Rebecca Low, Makeda Harding, Maya Collins, Abosaide Cadogan, Madison Fernandes, Kirsten Gomes, Paige Fernandes.
