Please assist by publishing my ordeal so that GTT can correct the faulty telephone line 339-2212. Since January 2016 after numerous complaints to a Mr. Shiek Nizamudeen of the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company, New Amsterdam that 339 2212 is dropping calls made to it, technicians turned up.
They came to my business to check out the connections; after replacing some wires the phone worked for two days then it went dead. Many reports were made via the GT&T hotline 0907, a Mr. Singh promised to inform the GTT technicians in New Amsterdam to correct the fault; they came and some work was done after which the line worked for a few days.
Every now and then 339 2212 receives calls, and then the calls are dropped before the conversation is over. My number 339 2212 is my business line and this has had a tremendously negative impact on my business. Since January 2016 to date I’ve been paying rental for non functional services from GT&T.
Where do I go from here? I am at my wits’ end after this long wait and no relief. There is a feeling from the technician that the problem is internal and the vibes I’m getting is that technicians are limited. I’d very much appreciate it if you would assist in publishing this letter. Mitra Dudnath
