Road Race, otherwise known as the ‘Granny Luces Classic’, which concluded in Port-of-Spain.
The national distance runner clocked 53:48 behind Trinidadian, veteran Curtis Cox (52:45). Collin Pereira (53:59) was third.
The Granny Luces Classic Road Race comprised of two races; the 15km and 5km, which started simultaneously in wet conditions at 6:30am at the Arima Velodrome and the St. Mary’s Children Home in Tacarigua respectively.
The race had 605 participants, who not only run to engage the community, but also the nation in leading the challenge to healthy active lifestyles.
