Floodlight Legends overcome Floodlight XI by six runs
Floodlight Legends defeated Floodlight XI by six runs in a 20-over softball match played recently at the Demerara Cricket Club ground.
Batting first, Floodlight XI posted 198-9 with Kash Latchman scoring 44, Wayne Jones 38 not out and Anil Beharry 33. Sydney Jackman Jr and Jailall Deodass picked up two wickets each.
Floodlight Legend responded with 204-4. Ramo Malone slammed ten fours and five sixes in a robust 92, while Lloyd Rooplall got 38 and Greg De Franca 35. Ramchand Ragbeer had 2-23 while Riaz Hussein and Petember Maharaj had one each. Malone was named man-of-the-match.
