Dear Editor,
Please permit me to share a few lines with your readers so they can be aware of a wrong that was committed on one of our leading animal rights activist
A few days ago I was reading some posts on my friend Genevieve Beepat Facebook page and saw another great exercise that was completed by her, some volunteer vets and sponsors. Over the past years I have been following her work and find it very interesting and well done. While reading I saw two regrets that were mentioned:
1. A dog that was taken to the GSPCA to be spayed in November 2015 was not properly done so it had to done a second time by another vet during this exercise.
2. She needs more pet carriers to help transport animals.
This confirms my suspicions that surgeries done at the GSPCA is very poor quality and those done at Judy is of a higher quality which may be because of her commitment to avoid animal suffering. I have seen one of our local vets at the GSPCA who mentioned to someone that he was part of the group doing surgeries which makes me believe that we have a local veterinarian performing surgeries which is not properly done.
Also the GSPCA is asking for a donation from poor person people while they are doing it for free for their rich friends and family not forgetting that they receive millions in donation and sponsorship while Judy is not asking for a dollar.
The GSPCA and that local vet should take a page out of JUDY’s book rather than bashing her for simply exposing their incompetence and lies, she was only showing the work done for animals in this beloved country. Donor and sponsors should make contribution to people who get the work done and not to organization who pays millions to persons just to live a fancy lifestyle under the pretense of helping animals.
