Banks Beer Inter-Ministry Futsal Competition….Explosive semi-finals anticipated this evening
With over $500,000 up for grabs the four semi-finalists need no more incentive to go toe to toe for a place in the final of the Banks Beer Inter-Ministry Futsal Competition which resumes tonight with final four

In the opening game, Ministry of Foreign Affairs take on Ministry of Infrastructure and this encounter will be followed by the clash between Banks DIH vs Ministry of Public Health.
Foreign Affairs will be looking to quarter-final heroes Godfrey Powers and Courtney Britton to lead their charge for victory, while Infrastructure’s quest for a final spot will depend on the services of Roy Cassou and Josephius Charles.
In the other semi-final, Banks DIH Andre Trotz, James Meredith, Ron Adams, Phillip Rowley and Seon McKenzie are the players the beverage company will be leaning on for victory.
On the other hand, Ministry of Public Health’s chances of beating the star-studded Banks DIH unit will rest on the shoulders of Delroy Dean and Deshane Garnett.
Two pulsating encounters are envisaged.
Meanwhile, three exhibition games will be played before the semi-finals are the fixtures are Divas vs G/Town Mix (Ladies), before Hopkinson Mining takes on New GPC and Sparta Boss sqaure off against West Front Road ‘Gold is Money’.
The winner of thetournament is guaranteed $200,000; second place $150.000; third place $100,000 and fourth place $50,000 along with trophies donated by Ramesh trophy stall.
The tournament was made possible by sponsorship from the Ministry of Tourism, Department of Education, Cultural and Sports, Midtown Café, Mohamed’s Enterprise, New GPC, Insurance Brokers, Oasis Water, GFF, Banks DIH, Petra, Sleep-in Hotel, Hopkinson Mining.
Admission is $500 with a donation going towards the Guyana Cancer institute to help in the fight against cancer.
