DJ Stress softball set for December 5 at Zeeburg
The Zeeburg cricket ground on the West Coast of Demerara is expected to come alive on December 5 when Paul Bonar jr (DJ Stress) stages two softball matches.
The event which is being dubbed ‘Night of Fun’ will see Parika facing Floodlight from 17:00 hrs and Guyana Softball Cup 5 champions Regal matching skills with Wolf’s Warriors of West Coast Demerara from 20:30 hrs.
Tickets cost $500 and are available at Avon DVD club (Uitvlugt and City Mall) where fans will receive a free DVD and Igloo or Slurrup Iceam and at Westsiderz Entertainment (Vreed-en-Hoop) where fans will be given a free DVD or CD for each ticket purchased.
Off field entertainment will be provided by 71 and Hi-Fi Sounds, while there will also be Merry Go Round, Ferris Wheel and fresh Candy Floss.
Gates open from 15:00 hrs and among the players expected to be on show are Guyana Softball Cup 5 open MVP Richard Latif, Chien Gittens, Ricky Sargeant, Fazal Rafeek, Navin Singh and Patrick Rooplall of Regal; Amrit Rai, Vishnu Tammechandra, Safraz Karim, Mark Harold and Azaad Azeez of Wolf’s Warriors.
