The Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) has suspended its scheduled practice sessions at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall until all affiliated clubs submit requested information ahead of a League the sub-association is planning.
Below is the full letter that Kaieteur Sport has seen that was sent to clubs:
“Dear Team Representatives,
This mail serves to notify all ‘Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association’ registered clubs that access to the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH), specific to GABA approved practice sessions has been suspended with immediate effect.
This suspension will be upheld until the submission of ‘Clubs League Requirement’. Only Clubs that has submitted the required information to GABA will resume regular practice sessions at CASH.
Should you require assistance or have any concerns going forward, please do not hesitate to response via same medium. We believe that you can be a valuable part of our association and look forward to seeing positive actions”.
GABA President, Andrew Hercules, had sent out the letter, and was among the first, on behalf of the Plaisance Guardians Basketball Club, to submit his information.
