Four matches are slated for the DCC Ground in Lance Gibbs Street Queenstown tomorrow when the Petama Ent. /Motor Trend Softball cricket begins.
Petama Enterprise of 16 Delph Street, Campbellville and Motor Trend Auto Sales, Spares & Repairs of Old Public Road, Enmore are the newest sponsors of the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association organised Softball Tournament.
Like all GFSCA Tournament it will be played in 3 Categories, Male/Female Open and Male Masters.
Starting tomorrow on Pitch 1: 9:30 am, Savage Masters vs Tropical Spring; at 12:30pm Regal Masters vs Fishermen X11.
Pitch 2: 9:30am: Wolf Warriors vs Regal; at 12:30pm Parika Defenders vs Park Rangers.
Prizes for the Male Open and Male Masters are Winners $100,000 + Trophy, Runner-Up $25,000 + Trophy. For Females, Winner receives $50,000 + Trophy and Runner-Up $20,000 + Trophy. Player of the Series in all categories will receive a Trophy + $10,000. Player of the Match in Final will receive a Trophy + $5,000.
The finals of this Softball Competition will be played on Sunday October 11th, 2015. Balls to be used by Males are the white GFSCA/Trophy Stall balls. Females will use the yellow Floodlight Balls.
The Petama Enterprise/ Motor Trend Softball Competition serves as the perfect build-up for the fifth GFSCA International Softball Tournament, “Guyana Softball Cup 5” which will be held on October 30th, 31st& 1st November.
