It was over 12 years ago that Veronica Holder- Prescott married Lennox Prescott.
But a few years later, the couple went their separate ways when their marriage ended in divorce.
But like a romance novel, the story had a happy ending.
Now, at 74 years old, the couple rekindled their love.
On Saturday, the Senior Citizen Society held a wedding ceremony and reception for Veronica Holder and Lennox Prescott.
In what they describe as “not your everyday romance,” members of the organisation, family, friends and well-wishers all gathered together to celebrate the union.

The couple say that true love always prevails and that it was love that brought them back together after all those years.
Lennox, who is a former police officer stationed at Eve Leary, has five children, one of whom passed away, while Veronica has a son in England. Together they will now have 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Over the years Mrs. Prescott had a number of professions but in her retirement years she is now a member of the Senior Citizen Society in which the newly-wed is contemplating to venture together.
