Murder suspect held after seven years on the run
A murder suspect who has been on the run for almost seven years was captured on Thursday in Georgetown.
Kendell Skeete, 34, of Goed Fortuin, West Bank Demarara, is alleged to have stabbed Kenneth Allen, 27, of Goed Fortuin, on October 15, 2008. He was charged while still on the run and an arrest warrant was issued.
He is scheduled to appear in the Wales Magistrate’s Court next Monday.
Allen was reportedly stabbed after he intervened in a dispute between the suspect and another man.
