Linden Town Week Inter Ward b/ball…
Victory Valley/Scheme and Amelia’s Ward Front won their opening games of the Linden Town Week Inter Ward Basketball Championship which began Monday night at the Mackenzie Sports Club Hard court.
In the Linden Amateur Basketball Association organized championship, Victory Valley /Scheme outscored Blueberry Hill/ Christianburg 80-43, while Amelia’s Ward Front beat Central Mackenzie/Retrieve/ Kara Kara 59-56 to advance to the semifinals.
These are all quarterfinal matches of this eight team ward championship with the winners meeting on Monday next for the semifinals.
